Class 9, Final Preparation: Learning the basics of JavaScript

I worked on JavaScript codecademy and worked on sections 5-10. I enjoyed creating my own small video game options for section 8 which was called "Dragon Slayer". I am working on Dragon Slayer in my third picture and finished up on section 10 in my last.

Midterm #6 Problems

I was not allowed to view the midterm tutorials for midterm #6. I tried rebooting my computer and closing out the browser. I was getting a message stating "not available- see instructor for details". Unfortunately I was not allowed to complete the Midterm.

Midterm #7 Problems

Unfortunately my computer would not allow me to view the directions for midterm 7 on on bitmap graphics textbook. I am showing  the process on how I tried to figure out this odd situation.

The above photo is what pops up when I try clicking on B.8.

It advises me to download Flip4Mac and Silverlight so my Mac laptop can view a Microsoft file.

I download and install each file type so I can view the section of the textbook.

Above are my downloads and as you can see Silverlight is the bottom right application.

I try to view it again but it will not work. I can not receive the instructions on how to complete this Midterm unfortunately. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at http://ImmersiveEducation.org/@/bc

Midterm #10

I started my house off with a basic triangle with a texture fill. The rectangular structure is filled in with a  pattern colored in green.

I Changed the color of my house to a cream color and added windows, window panels, a door and a door knob.

Lastly, I added a sun with sun raise along with a chimney with smoke. I filled in the chimney with a red brick pattern. This is midterm #10. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. Midterm #9

I started my design off with an introduction of the class and my name. I used the rectangular shape along with two cloud shapes that lead onto my subtopics.

After the cloud shapes I used two arrows to show where my next point was going to be.

Finally, I used two triangles to state my last points about Meshmoon and cloud party and also about the different types of bitmap graphic formats. This is midterm #9. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. Midterm #8

This is the original photo I took for Midterm #8. I have blemishes on my phase, bags under my eyes, scruffy face, smile lines, etc.

I then used the smudge tool in GIMP to touch up on my face. It is a midterm (or final, if it's a final) exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at http://ImmersiveEducation.org/@/bc

Class 7, Roll Call #2

Class 7, Roll Call #1

Here I choose to add new layers over a BMW M4. I used the fuzzy select tool to shade black over the car and background. You can only see the existing front of the car.

In this picture I used Gimp to paste a photo into an existing photo. I used the rectangular stroke tool to draw out the image of where I wanted to place my second image.

I used Gimp to make this design by using the three different stoke tools such as the rectangular, circular and lasso strokes. I enjoyed being creative and designing my own picture using just the stroke and paint tools.
